I use fleece liners for the cage, but for the hay tray, I put wood shavings underneath the hay pile in order to keep the place dry and it's easier to clean up.
One of my pigs sometimes likes to dig into the hay and eat the bedding...is that 'normal' behaviour? Is it OK for guinea pigs to eat a little bit of wood shaving?
