Guinea Pig Chirping

I went to give my piggies romaine lettuce at 12 midnight,one of my female cavies was chirping.its a delightful sound,first time ive heard this.has anyone else experienced this.

Wow, chirping! It is quite rare, we have heard it 4 times in 9 years. No one really knows why piggies chirp. Some people say it is a spooked sound but I am unsure. I have walked in on piggies chirping but saw Widget start one day and nothing had distressed her. She started chirping for 3 minutes and the others stopped and watched her, she then stopped and went about here business.... I am so pleased you experienced it.

thanks,its was very songful,i had to check at first it was not a nightigale in a tree,not one of the four cavies looked distressed.

Adreanoc is the primerary churper in my teem . she is caperbal of producing 3 distingtive vereations in her song
it is butifull
though l have not heard a peep from her for quite a while, . maybe she is saving it for christmas,
but when she do,s start again l have a recorder in my pig room to capture her melodeous song
