Hi,
We have a 3 year old , noticed labourer breathing Friday took her to the vets Saturday morning . She was started on anti biotics but was worse over weekend and now not eating or drinking .
Took her back on Monday morning and she was given an injection of anti inflammatory and anti inflammatorys to take once a day with food she did seem to perk up slightly and took a bite of spinach but isn’t eating properly again now.
We are now syringe feeding her , vet said ideally she needs full 90ml sachet of the rescue food per day - we can just get 3ml in her per sitting and trying to do that every few hours but not sure if that’s getting enough in her ? Just worried as her poop is different now and very small so worried her digestive system is shutting down 😫
What is ideal process with syringe feeding ?
Thankyou

Thankyou for your reply that is very helpful.

When syringe feeding she will sit for first 2ml I then have to force the 2nd two then do it an hour later is it safe to to keep going for maybe 10 ml don’t want to make her worse ?
