Hello,

I have a pair of Guinea Pigs and I recently rescued them from a home were there were very loud children and weren't treated the best. Ive had them for a month or so weeks now and some of the things I have noticed is one of them seem to "Bully" the other one if they get in their way. Another thing I've noticed is they're not vocal at all and I'm wondering if this would be because the house they came from was "loud" (Like it was ridiculously loud, 3 children under the age of 10 loud) that they've just reminded quite because of that.

My main concern is the "bullying", what should I do to prevent this or help it. They're about 2 years old, if not older. They gave me a very vague range what there age is.

Thanks,
Spencer

Teeth chattering is just (mild) dominance behaviour and not unusual. It’s not ‘bullying’. When did you bring them home? As a change in environment can also trigger dominance behaviours. And are they boars or sows?

Not all piggies are vocal. I’ve had boys for three years this year. And only one of them is vocal. More so since I brought home a pair of girls. The other one doesn’t wheek at all.
