Hi! It's been a good year or two since the last time I've visited this forum. I don't know if I'm being paranoid but my guinea pig's breathing is sounding quite strange. Smudge (1 years old) was running around in her run with the rest of the pigs, but as i got closer it sounded louder and deeper? Her hair is shiny like normal and there is no discharge from her eyes and she seems to being eating her food fine. I just want to make sure she's ok! (sorry if the video doesn't work or isn't great quality, I'm not great with this)

It’s not easy to tell from the video. In some way it sounds just like she is just chatting a bit.
Sometimes, as vigilant owners, we pick up slight irregularities which aren’t yet clear symptoms of an issue. It can take a little while for things to become consistent. keep a close eye on her and if you hear it again then get her to a vet for a check up

Thank you for the reply, i'm sorry the video isn't very clear. I did check up on my guinea pig again later and I could hear the weird breathing sound again. If it carries on tomorrow I could take her to the vet if there is one available.

Definitely good to get on top of things quickly if there is an issue starting.
