Hi, next week i will be boarding my pigs for the first time and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how there pigs found it if you board them?
I'm assuming they will be quite nervous being in a new environment.... were your pigs nervous? and how about when they come home - this may sound like a really stupid question but do they remember you and their home when they get back? sorry its just ive never left my pigs before and i dont want them to forget me or anything :red .....
my pigs will probably be quite sad to come home hehe :red i dont have a garden so they dont have any grass at home whereas they will have access to it all day whilst boarding.
so yeah.... any info about your pigs attitude to boarding would be really useful! thanks!

Hiya,

I've been in a similar situation to you a few times - I don't have a garden either! I'm sure they'll love the grass but make sure you tell the boarding place that they aren't used to it as it could upset their tummies if they go for it too much!

I've used two different boarding places (one twice), and a home pet sitting company which was the best option for us by far & I'd use again - despite the cost :{ !

Each time I took my boys to be boarded somewhere they always seemed happy to get home :) "there's no place like home!" They would be very excited when I put them back in their cage, and they'd popcorn about :) so no, I don't think they forget you or their home :)

Hope all goes well for you xxxxxxx

I've just had my boys back from a weeks boarding and they loved it! They loved coming home too though.

They don't forget you. Two of my boys I've only had since the end of September and they were really pleased to see me and OH when wegot home from hols so no worries there!

It's just differet than home. There's not right or wrong way.
