Hello,

About an hour ago my 6month old guinea pig ate 1-2 red maple leaves. My young daughter fed it to him :(

Google says its toxic. Anything I can do?

Hi and welcome

Unfortunately all you can do is wait and see. Keep a close eye on him for the next 24 hours. Rodents don't have a vomit reflex, so what goes in at one end can only come out at the other. See a vet asap if he is suddenly ill and off his food.

You can try to ring a vet clinic and ask for their advice.

Here is our one-stop emergency, crisis and bridging care advice: Emergency, Crisis and Bridging Care until a Vet Appointment

Fingers firmly crossed!
