Hi,
This happened just five seconds ago but I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. I first heard my guinea pig make sort of a quiet chirping noise(it wasn't exactly the sound that guinea pigs make when they chirp, it was a bit less chirpy) and then he started to move his body as if he was hiccuping, but no sound was coming out. I came over and he stopped doing it, he seems compelety fine now and is eating hay. .has anyone had that happen to their guinea pig before? Is it something I should worry about?

Piggies do get hiccups so that may have been what it was but given we didn’t see it, what you describe and what we picture may be different things.
Do see a vet if you are concerned

It does sound to me like hiccups and when you aren't familiar with it, it does really frighten you. As above, if you are concerned or if it happens too frequently see a vet. Sometimes my Delilah looks as if she's choking, only happened about 3 times, as if she's trying to throw up. It happens when she's being a bit greedy and eating way too fast.
