Guinea pig acting like a horse

Just put some fresh megazorb in the hutch and one of the pigs started rubbing himself all over it then rolled on his back with his legs stretched in the air just like a horse!

They he started squeaking REALLY loud then started leaping all over the huctch then rolling in the megazorb again.

Is this strange behaviour?
 
No, just a popcorning hay afficionado! :))
 
i sometimes put a hot water bottle wrapped in fleece for my girls and one of them does this. so funny to watch to watch her rolling about with her legs in the air!
 
just dsounds like a very very happy excited piggy to me, i love when they popcorn, they just go nuts! x
 
AHH That is soooo funny and cool...how lovely! What a happy piggy you have!

Mine burrow under their fleece in the indoor cage we use in the lounge for playtimes..

the other day the big ones were burrowing between the floor of the cage and the fleece in the cage and the baby sows were on top of the fleece with the older ones popcorning around underneath. they thought they were trampolining so I had double decker popcorning from below and above with loads of loud wheeking. it was the funniest thing to watch...such comical little things are'nt they? Far better than watching the telly...
 
I want to see Video's I've never seen or heard of anything like it. Can someone please record there piggy with it's feet in the air. Sounds so cute!
