I suspect Coco is in season cos she usually rumbles and carries on like a diva when she is but tonight she's been rumbling pretty much everytime Patchy makes a move. Poor patchy cant ever walk past her pigloo with out getting rumbled at. Coco seems alright in herself and eating but is just alot more rumbly than usual. She's four months old now so is she having some teenage hormonal swing or something?

Ok. So now Patchy keeps sniffing Coco's butt as she tries to run away.....still rumbling. They are still good to eat out of the same bowl though even though there is two. Ive had them both out to look them over, Coco for anything that might be aggravating her and Patchy for any nips and bites although I have not seen or heard anything to indicate this is happening.

Hopefully, it is over in another day or two. Sometimes, sows can have a much stronger season than normally. The behaviour is normal for a sow coming into season.

My sows definitely had an increase in their rumbling when in season and even humped once or twice when they reached 4 months.

Lol yesterday morning I got out of bed to find the two guinea pigs sharing a pigloo again and Coco has now stopped her rumbling.
