Hello, I spotted this white growth on one of my girls eye today. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I booked a vet appointment for next week but thought I would ask here for some advice also. Thank you

Hi

It is either something stuck on the eye or is an osseous choristoma; an area where corneal tissue has turned into bony tissue. It is harmless and not painful but it limits your piggy's sight. So far, this is the largest patch I have come across on this forum. There is no treatment.
Bony tissue forming a jagged ring around the eye is the more common form, especially in older guinea pigs.
However it needs a hands-on examination. We can only guess.
