Ive decided to make a thread about the day-to day life of my 2 baby guineas growing up

These 2 beauties were born at about 8am on the 10/5/07.
Cheeky Cindy had them while everyone was asleep :
When they were discovered they weren’t moving around too much but throughout the rest of the day they started moving more and more.
The cream baby was first born and weighed about 215g a few hours after birth.
The brown baby was second born and weighed about 220g a few hours after birth.
When pregnant Cindy, their mother weighed a massive 1.2Kg... before she was pregnant and after she gave birth she weighed in at 900g, so during her pregnancy she gained quite a bit!
At about 1 week old the babies were able to drink from a water bottle and eat normal food, such as lettuce, carrots, parsley etc.
From then on the babies just kept growing! Now at 3 weeks and 2 days the male baby has been separated and is not one bit impressed! They’re so huge now! They’re like double, maybe triple the size they were when they were born! :o
Wilson, their father got to briefly meet his wonderful children when they were 1 week old, and then again when they were 2 weeks. Wilson is now living with the male baby until Wilson gets neutered.
Both of the babies are pretty used to human contact... whenever I try to hold them they still run away but don’t freak out when I touch them ;D
So... that just about covers the first 3 weeks of their lives here... will update later
