First l have 6 small buckets, 3 have lots of holes drill in base, place a hole bucket in side an unholie bucket, for small amount you can use a jar with a bit of cloth held on with an elastic band work well, weight out your seed, l use mixed corns, you will only need about an eggcup full per piggie ,it gos a long way,l please the corn in to the 1st bucket and cover with water, mix well to clean the seeds and empty, refill with clean water. Cover and stand for 24 hrs, next day wash and drain, leave draining, start your 2nd lot of the same way, 24 hours later repeat with your 3rd lot, you 1st lot will now look like this. Spread it out into trays, l use full sized garden trays, but these work just as well, make shore they are clean.drill holes in one side base for drainage. The seeds must be washed at least twice a day, one to stop the seeds going sour, and two the seeds grow so fast they give of heat ,so you need to keep them coo.and to stop them rotting. You now start the 4th lot of in the same way as 1st,your trays are ready for feeding in 7-9 days.l have my setup on a home made rack that takes 16 trays, and uses a small pond pump to water an drains back into the pump bucket.
