George has been grinding his back teeth lately {:| Its not chattering, but a while ago he gently nibbled on my finger and his back teeth started to grind I think. I placed my finger back to his molars [ i need to buy a bucal pad dilator/separator, any body know were to buy one ? ] and I think they are growing inwards ! What do I do ?

I'm not sure where you can buy the buccal pads from sorry. I don't know what can be done for teeth that grow inwards apart from having them regularly cut/filed. My piggie had a problem where the teeth didn't meet correctly so the odd one of teeth would grow longer that the rest so she had regular trims.

Bucal pad seperators can only be purchased from vetinary suppliers. They are not easy to use and you would need to be taught by a vet.Misuse of these instruments could result in serious damage to the gps mouth,so do not try this at home!.

You need to get your gp to a vet to have the mouth examined properly.

Forgot to say in last post that if the inscissors are curving inwards, the molars are almost certainly overgrown.

Terribly, sorry, I ment to say he is grinding his molars ! I'm so stupid :)
