Grid Hay Rack

Used to use these a few years ago without problem, thought I'd ask anyway. Are these ok? I usually use newspaper and hay on top but the hay gets everywhere. Not a problem for me, but my mum is constantly asking to get the hay off the fleece as she's finding tiny pieces on clothes next wash. Don't have the money for a horse bag right now (vet tomorrow).

I use a hay rack for my pigs but the one in the picture seems it could be a little hard for your pigs to get the hay out

Thanks x I'm gonna get a hay tray, for now the fleece will have to bear the hay so I'm not worrying about teeth hooking all night

I can't envisage any way you can keep your fleeces completely hay free . If you can't afford a petware wash bag - how about using an old duvet cover instead ?

I use one end of the cage for hay. I put a poundland tarp covered in newspaper doen with a grow tray and an underbed storage box with hemparade and hay in.

The rest of the cage is fleece. Havent had to change the fleece for a couple of weeks and the hay stays in the hay tray area.

I no longer have those white barriers up.
