Green Cabbage?

Hello everyone o/

After checking various website's, i am still a bit unsure if i can feed my piggys green leafed cabbage, a few sites say you can, yet others say dont.

does any1 on here feed green cabbage to pigs or not?

I used to feed tiny pieces of cabbage to our boys years ago........as for my girls no i don't, they weren't bought up on it.
Also a few people i know had problems with cabbage making their piggies gassy :{

My girls adore cabbage especially sweetheart but they tend to have it once in a while rather than as a regular food.

I feed cabbages as part of their daily diet, but it is only one part in five veg, so never a huge amount and I introduce it carefully to new guinea pigs. I know people on the continent who feed cabbages a lot without problems.

I serve mainly sweetheart cabbage, savoy, cauliflower leaves, spring greens and rarely kale. Broccoli is a near daily feature.

When you research, you will find that there is some problem or other with most veg, so giving a bit of everything is my way around that minefield. I have had only one guinea pig out of the round twenty I have known so far that has had a gas problem.

I feed sweetheart cabbage, spring greens, broccoli and kale. Everything in moderation though.
