Hello everyone! I was giving Eddie playtime today when I noticed that the inside of his nose looked greenish, I looked inside and his mucas seems to have changed to a dark green colour. He is not having any trouble breathing, his nose is not running, his eyes look fine, he doesn’t have excessive sneezing, and he hasn’t lost any weight. The only thing I can think of is that I recently switched him from Timothy hay to meadow hay. I also want to avoid taking him to the vet unless necessary since most small animal vets around me are closed. :( Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I can’t really tell anything from what you’ve said. As far as I know they shouldn’t have any snot. If ring the vet and speak to them. Also consider sending them a photo. Hay wouldn’t cause that.

Thanks for your reply, the boogers seem to have gone away on their own, I didn’t see any yesterday or today. 🤷‍♀️ I will send a picture to my vet if they return though.
