Hey everyone. So my piggie Charlie has a slight buildup on his grease gland, I didn’t clean over it as I got told to leave the grease gland alone until you see buildup, as touching unnecessarily can cause over activity or something. So now there’s a slight build up. Went to the shops to see if they had any coconut oil. This is the only thing they had. Is this okay? Or would it cause irritation? Thank you x

I wouldn’t OGX is bad enough for human hair!
Did you look in the cooking oil section for the coconut oil? Or the Middle Eastern aisle?
I get ours from Lidl!

That’s the only hair section in the shop unfortunately :( I did look around more but the only other coconut thing was things like coconut scented shampoo and stuff :/

Plain coconut oil without additves (which is usually sold solid in a jar, by the way) is mainly used in cooking. Most supermarkets have stock it either with the cooking oil or in the Asian foods aisle.

If you’re looking in Tesco, I believe it’s kept near the oils and vinegar… it’s just a glass jar of coconut oil.35BCA7A1-B031-417B-B40A-107E69C9D3E6.webp

It’s a bit of a misnomer coconut oil as it’s solid at room temperature, but coconut oil is just found as stated above in the cooking and groceries section of all supermarkets including Tesco, Aldi, Lidl etc.
