We cleaned one of our boars today as this area was mucky . He didn't like it at all really squeaked a lot . I wiped it gently with a baby wipe and used a bit of washing up liquid lightly massaged it then rinsed . Is this area very sensitive? I thought cleaning him would prevent the other boar being interested as he's been mounting and chasing him ( we got them from a shelter and def two boys). We will see!

Guinea pigs do not really like being cleaned. You have to do it though so do not worry.

I noticed his legs on his unseride were mucky but the gland was a bit ew so it needed doing . Also trimmed his skirt although I think I was a bit scissor happy next time I'll remember to go easy!

Trimming the hair is the best thing as it prevents matts and urine soaking it.
