Hi I wondered if anyone could advise. My two boars have very blocked grease glands. I have never really properly cleaned them and feel bad about it. Is this something I should be doing regularly? I attempted it the other day using coconut oil and a bum bath but it didn’t cut the grease and one of my boars spent the rest of the day mounting his brother which was quite distressing to watch as Percy was squealing and very antagonised to the point where I had to separate them. I am assuming this was due to the unfamiliar smell? Do you have any advice? Thank you! E521D630-167E-4CDA-B8EC-8F019257F20F.webp

The last time I did peppers it wasn’t great, I sat and massaged the coconut oil in for a while and had to pick the chunks of grease off him, then followed by a bum bath.

It must be the time of year for greasy bottoms. I had to do my Peppers recently too. There was no mounting from my two though. I used coconut oil. It took ages and I had to pick some off too but it worked quite well.

I don’t do it too often. Just when I notice it’s a bit worse than usual. Some are greasier than others.
