Grass

I just gave my guinea pigs a few peices of what I thought was Timothy grass. I found it when going on a walk near a beach where their was alot of grass(it wasent on the beach it was seperate) I had already looked it up but I looked it up again and realized it was probably sweet vernal grass, but this was after I gave it to them. I'm not sure if it was exactly that but it looks alot more like sweet vernal grass then Timothy. Does anyone know if they can have that kind of grass or if theyre any kinds of grass their not allowed to have? Will my guinea pigs be ok?

Your piggies should be fine. They can eat any grass from the grass family safely, which sweet vernal grass (a North American native) is a member of; it makes a great seasonal enrichment in addition to their main grass/hay diet.

Please always give any wild forage a rinse if it is near a path that is used by dog walkers or by foxes and near the sea.
