Grass V Hay

The girls have been enjoying time on the grass recently ( British weather permitting ! ) However i notice that after grazing they do not eat as much hay as when they are "house bound". Is this likely to cause digestive problems?

They will have filled up on grass. As long as their tummies are used to grass, then it should be fine.
I always ensure my piggies have hay available to them while they are on the grass: I tend to find they alternate between eating grass and hay during grass time
