Grass time

The grass ground here is still too cold and damp to put out my piggies but then we are having loads of dew every morning. It must be different in Cornwall.

Sorry - can’t help being head girlish. I learned a very hard lesson many years ago when spring came early.
Glad they enjoyed it and are safely back in again.

Don’t worry...didn’t take it the wrong way or anything! It was just a quick leg stretch for them, wouldn’t have left them out for hours.
 
Trudy and Hazelnut were wondering if anypig else had a little lawn time this afternoon. They thought the concept of pick-your-own grass was pretty awesome and they are looking forward to this thing called Spring that the humans are promising!
 
Bill and Ted have been out all day in their hutch and run. It’s been beautiful again in Cornwall today, full on sunshine. Springtime, bring it on!
 
My boars have been out on the patio with picked grass today. Sadly we need weeks of dry weather for our ground to dry out as we are on a very clay soil. When I lived in Cornwall my piggies were able to go out 10 months of the year on some days, it was only December and January usually that were too cold and wet. I really miss that lovely weather and sandy soil!

I'm in Cornwall now with my mum as it's her birthday tomorrow so took her away for a week.Its been lovely weather so far for this time of year x
