Thankfully today it's really sunny outside so I managed to get the pigs on the grass for a while. My garden got badly flooded over the winter so there's only a small square of grass that's okay for them to go on, it's enough for them though

After not being out in the sun for a while, Beans was rather apprehensive about stepping out into the great outdoors.

She felt it may be better to remain in the safety of the carrier. But she couldn't resist the smell of the grass...

It didn't take long for Toasty to shoot out and start munching under the wooden house.

This gave Beans the courage she needed. Out she went to feel the grass under her paws.

They're now having a rest in their cosy hay boxes. It's a hard life being a pampered piggy

This is the first time on months they could get on it. Luckily there's one little square of grass that didn't get flooded.
Do you use grass trays to grow indoors?

Lovely pictures! I wish I could take my girls out but I don't trust that my apartment doesn't treat the grass and my boyfriend's parents live close but have their lawn treated as well so I occasionally buy wheat grass as a treat for them but I know it's not the same

I can't get them out very often as the weather is rubbish most of the time:td:
Have you looked at growing some indoors? I might get some seeds and grow some grass in a tub or something so they can have grass even when they can't get outside :D

Idk how I manage to do it but I kill any and all house plants, oddly my aquarium plants are doing fabulously but anything I grow inside does ok for a few months and then dies, I drive my boyfriend mad killing plants he won't let do it anymore

Arghh, so jealous of Beans and Toast being so brave.
My lot are useless - 3 glorious hours in the sunshine on our beautiful back lawn, and we got one nose out of the tunnel.
ONE nose was the sum total of bravery displayed by my THREE guinea pigs.
Beans and Toast rock

I can just picture them all sitting in there saying to themselves "Nope. Not doing it. I'm not going out there... you go instead" :P
