I have to give Brownie an antibiotic via syringe. The doctor did it just fine but when I try it the piggy doesn't like it. I put the tip of the syringe by his mouth and he doesn't budge. If he doesn't like the taste, what am I supposed to do? That might not even be the case. I don't have anyone to help me as I live alone. I tried putting it on some lettuce but he caught on.

You need to put the syringe inside his mouth but between his cheek and his teeth. You have to be calm and gentle but persistent in getting it in.

If I’m on my own, I sit on the floor with piggy also on the floor but between my legs with them facing away from me. One hand has the syringe, the other hand on piggy but with my hand kind of over their head but holding their mouth. They can’t get out backwards as there is nowhere to go and can’t easily go forwards as they are in my hand.
I’m not sure if that even makes sense in written form, but it works every time!

He most likely doesn’t taste nice. If it is baytril then it tastes bitter and most will never take it willingly.
You will never get him to take it on food - piggies have a lot of taste buds so he will spot it and refuse to eat the food.

Have something tasty such as coriander or a bit of veg for immediately afterwards to take away the nasty bitter taste.
