My baby goofball died tonight. I came home and went to feed them some hay when she was unusually sitting in the corker of her cage away from her mates. I want to pet her and she didn't move at all like she usually would. I coundnt even move her myself I needed my mom to (I'm still only 16). I loved her very much and I wish I showed it to her better but I'm happy she can be with the other piggies and run free and wild with my the guinea pigs I had while I was younger. Rest In Peace angel.

I am very sorry for your loss! It is always tough when a piggy passes away suddenly, which can sadly happen at any age out of the blue if it is a heart attack or a stroke.

Goofball had the companionship of her mates to make her happy. It is normal to having feelings of regret, guilt or failure at the onset of the grieving process. If anything, it speaks of you being a good and caring piggy mom!
