Goodbye, Cosmo <3

Cosmo was our 2.5-year-old guinea pig. We adopted Cosmo as a companion to our 8yr old guinea pig, Caramel. He was adopted after our previous guinea pig, Mocha, passed away earlier this year. Cosmo very likely had cancer (tumors -- one in his abdomen, one on his chin) and we made the difficult decision to put him down yesterday. He was the most chaotic and vocal guinea pig, in the best way possible. He would always have zoomies around his cage, wheeking for treats and living life to the fullest. I know that he's popcorning and eating all of the snacks he wants in piggy heaven.

I am so sorry that you have had to send Cosmo on the express bus to the Rainbow Bridge to avoid what would have been otherwise a long, painful slog. Cosmo will no doubt have a wonderful reunion party with Caramel.

Some piggies you cannot remember but with a daft smile on your face, no matter how many years later. And because he has lived his life to the fullest, you feel like you had him for much longer. Cosmo sounds like he is another one of them - such a pigsonality that God broke the mould when he made him.
