Hi all,
I live in Tewkesbury and my poor little sow Daisy isn't looking too well, I love her so much and want a good vet in Gloucestershire who has experience with piggies to see her,
does anyone know of any?
It would be much appreciated,
Jess.

Depending on where you are, theres Great Western Referrals in Swindon (probably about an hour away?) - they have small animal and exotic specialists (yep, guinea pigs are classed as exotics in the veterinary world!) and as long as it's not a dog/cat/horse they will see your pet without a referral, you can see them as a normal vet.

Hope that helps!

hi sorry i haven't seen this sooner. Rachel mowbray at vale vets in dursley is good. She's not amazing as she still needs to anaesth when x ray etc but is better than any other vet i know in the area x

Wood Vets in Longlevens are good if you are near Gloucester itself. I took all of mine there.

I saw someone at Wood Vets who said my guinea pig couldn't have bladder stones because he was too old (3) rolleyes so I won't go there again (but maybe there's some other vets there who are better, don't know)

Go and see Rachel at Vale Vets in Dursley. They're a bit expensive but best round here so far.
