Hi there!
I currently use back to nature, paper pellet bedding, I've used it for many years with multiple guinea pigs, and they have never had a problem with it. My two current piggies Luna and Willow, both grew up with fleece (as it was the winter and I move them inside on fleece in the winter) and now that they are back in the hutch on bedding, they really dont seem to like it. I dont want to use fleece in the hutch as it is very impractical, and I cant use wood shavings as I had a piggie that got very ill from the dust, so I'm scared to use that now. Which bedding types do you use? Can u suggest any that I can buy in the UK? Thanks :)

I sometimes use aubiose which is hemp based and used for horses - I put newspaper down then the aubiose and then hay. There can be a little dust with the aubiose so check it but the hay stops it anyway - I also use paper towels in hay baths and hideys then lots of hay on top - my piggles use their hideys and hay bath as a toilet too so the paper towels easily soak up the urine - I change that daily and there’s no smell

I'd also second Lady Kelly and highly recommend aubiose or easibed. Like her, I really liked aubiose but couldn't use any longer. And easibed is also good but again I can't use it any longer!
