going C-R-A-Z-Y!

my guinea pig gilbert went crazy last night after i ate dinner and also today. he was running around his cage WICKED fast for like 30 seconds. i dont get how it does it ! he doesnt bump into anything and my cage has tight spaces! it does it like an obstacle! and its so sudden. it jsut suddenly starts running around. what does this mean?{:|

By the way your describing it, it sounds like he's popcorning. Popcorning is when they are happy and run around excitedly.

I think that's what he's doing by the sound of it.
