Dysnomia is on cystease for IC like symptoms and it really helps. I'm thinking of using human glucosamine as it's cheaper. I looked in Holland and Barrett and there's a vegan one and a normal one. I assume the vegan one is better for pigs. Do the ingredients look ok? Vegan Glucosamine Tablets 500mg | Holland & Barrett

Some of our forum members have used it/use it for their own piggies. Mine are not at all keen on the taste of human tablets.

PS: What is used in cystease as carrier product are the powdered shells of creatures and not any meaty/animal protein parts, just to clarify that point; it makes for a bit better uptake than plant based carriers and it is safe to give to piggies.

Can I ask, if I were to try this with my arthritic piggy, would I need to pulverise the tablet and only give part of it for a daily dose? The Cystease is 125mg, 1 capsule per day if I'm correct, so only one quarter of a tablet would be the correct dose I think?

You can grind it in a mortar and mix it with 4 ml of water. The tablet carrier is a bit less absorbent than the capsule carrier so you need a bit less water.
Or you cut the pill in quarters and crumble one part on or into a favourite bit of veg if your piggy is willing to take it that way (not very piggy will). You will need a pillcutter for this.

My Breila just hates any human tablets in whichever form or make with a passion. Her IC is just starting to finally
settle down now after four years... :(
