Hi! One of my boars has recently been diagnosed with IC, and we are wanting to supplement him with some glucosamine. I already have a few piggies taking it due to a plethora of bladder issues, but was wondering if one was better than the other?

I initially switched to giving the Holland and Barrett one due to the price - you get a lot more for a lot less money than the equivalent amount of Cystease. But ultimately, if Cystease is significantly better, I am happy to switch back. Any advice?

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your piggy’s IC diagnosis.
I’m afraid I can’t offer advice re the Holland and Barrett product. My IC piggy did however, so very well on cystease, a low calcium diet and filtered water.

I’m sure others will be along to offer more advice 😊

I know of a few members who have been using the Holland and Barrett glucosamine. You will have to work out the dosage yourself, though.
