Gizmo and Ziggy - long term holiday care

Hello! We are traveling to NZ for a month over Christmas to see family. I am struggling to find pet care for our two lovely guineas. Normally friends pop in to feed them if we're away for a day or two but a whole month is a commitment. What do other owners do/recommend if they go away for long periods of time? We're based in Teddington. Any advice welcome, thank you!

Welcome to the forum. When I go away for two weeks my boys go to stay with family, cage and all. Do you have anyone willing with the space to spare?
If I was closer I would offer.

Yes as above - either have your piggies to and stay with someone or try to contact a boarding facility - google may help you find someone near you or sometimes your local vet may know of some.

Have a fabulous time in NZ.
We were there in the spring and had a fantastic time.
We had arranged for the piggies to go and stay with a friend who has a herd of her own but sadly we lost Micah to a tumour so Ruth went to live permanently with our friend.
