Giant rabbit and friends update...

I had a call today asking if I could urgently pick up a giant rabbit, two female lops... A llion lop doe and two guinea pigs...
The giant rabbit was taken straight to the vets as he was dribbling to the extreme... I took him out of the carrier and put him on my lap for a check over and he soaked my jeans in the 5 mins he was there... He had gunked up eyes and an extremly filthy bottom...
He's in the vets now as they are doing a dental, tear duct flush, bottom clean and neuter first thing tomorow morning...
The lion lop is missing hair in patches but doesn't seem to be caused my mites or fungal...
The two lops are in relatively good health....
And one of the guineas is okay and the other is extremly lethargic... He's currently been given supportive care...
The guinea pigs were together in a 80 cage and had immensely long nails...
And look generally run down...
I've just finished sorting them out for the night...
Now to catch up with shameless and chill out for a bit... :)

Just back from the vets as had all the other animals vet checked...
One guinea pig has some neurological problems... :(
Two dental rabbits... All are in a state... Filthy bottoms and really long nails...
Giant rabbit hasn't been operated on yet... Will be this afternoon...

G/R is staying in over night as he hasn't come round from the anistetic well...
Really need to think of a name for the poor thing...
Others are doing well...
Neurological pig is still doing okay... Gonna be another week untill we know what's really going on with him...

Poor critters :( how could anyone not show these guys some love and affection. But the bright side is that they are now with someone that can help them and make them happy :) vibes from everyone here <3

Oh Hugo is gorgeous. It is so upsetting to hear how they were all in such a bad way. I am so glad they are in your care now and will get better.

Haven't taken any of the pigs as of yet as I want to give them some space still...
Also if anyone has any names for these two bucks who came in a week
Ago that would be ace...

What beautiful rabbits! They are so lucky they met you...can't believe nayone let them get into that state!

For the two boys....Hmmm.....how about Dean & Sam? (I'm watching Supernatural at the moment lol).

Or Toffee & Treacle! :D
 
For the black rabbit I say Basil. For the mixed white rabbit I say Cyril. They are lovely. I wish I had space for them.

Cyril is nice... What would be a good name to go with it as the two White rabbits live together... :))
