Gforce movie - good or bad?

I dont know if anyone has already posted about this movie but my friend just sent me a trailer to it. Now i'm quite a negative person anyway so someone please correct me if i'm wrong but i'm feeling the Nemo clown fish/pot bellied pigs/cool pet scenario coming on. I cringe at the thought of all those poor piggies who will be bought and forgotten about on the back of children watching this film. ANGRY! grrrr
Hopefully i'm wrong and it will highlight that guinea pigs are pets that are worth caring about even though they are small animals!
 
Well Disney have them as fighting guinea with combat gear and pigs don't do that...lol I see it as a negative thing it won't highlight the cause at all.
That said not everyone who buys a guinea pig blindy will turn out to be a bad owner. I did similar in June 2007 now I'm obsessed!

Fingers crossed it won't be as bad as we think. x
 
yeah but it does show guinea pigs in those hamster balls and people can be very very stupid sometimes :-(

The only thing we can do is to put packages together containing good care information and links, and send the packages to pet shops, veterninary surgeries and so forth. If people are going to buy guinea pigs after being "inspired" by the film, then they're going to buy them - may as well try and persuade those selling the piggies to at least offer some decent information along with the animals. If we can sneak in a refernece to G-Force, all the better!
 
yes i agree. when i first saw the trailor i was excited and thought how cute, a film with guinea pigs in :(|) then the same thought crossed my mind- lots of children wanting them for the wrong reasons. hope it doesn't happen, poor piggies :(
