Any helpful tips for getting piggies used to being out with me?

Currently I have them sitting on a pillow with a towel on it. They seem terrified. Hazel is shaking and they keep looking over at me like I am a horrible monster (which, from a pig perspective, I am at least a giant). I've given them some cucumber which they are nibbling at every so often.

Wrap in a towel and stroke head..they feel safe and will come around quicker xx

I use a cardboard play tube for one of mine, i put it on a towel on the sofa next to me and Jerry sits in the tube with his head out if he gets worried he just backs into the tube so a few mins then he will reappear - he has been doing this since i got him (just over a year ago) he has always been a little nervous whilst his half brother Joe flops out legs in the air and sleeps next to me or on my 5 year olds lap he has even fallen asleep on the sofa with the dog (stange but lovely site!) - every pig is different mine have been treated exactly the same since they were 10 weeks but could not be more different when it comes to human contact on the other side of the coin Jerry will chase the dog round the garden whilst Joe would rather sit in the hidout!

Do you sing to them?

My guinea pigs chill right out when I sing softely to them in my arms.

I also find they relax more snuggled warmly against a chest, next to a heart beat.
