Getting my tooth pulled in the morning...

Ouch! I'm getting my last baby tooth removed tomorow morning :) I cant wait... ive only ever had one other tooth removed and it hurt ;D Only one step away from my braces though :)
 
yer... I'm a bit scared! its pretty wobbly now so should come out easy... awww save me! I hate needles :( at least they'll be numbing me i guess... ;D last time i had it done i couldnt say the letter f properly for a few hours after ;D
 
I had one of my back teeth removed once. Didn't feel a thing other then lots of tugging and pulling. It didn't hurt though.
By god did my jaw hurt when the anestethic wore off!
 
As i'm such a big baby the dentist always put some cream stuff on to numb my gum before I even had the injection! Soft or what!?! :D
 
last time i got it done mum asked if i wanted to go home with her but i wanted to go on the bus instead... i was so embassased... it hurt so much i cried :( at least this time i can have lots of piggie huggles :) hey i should put some bonjella on! :)

That will numb the needle right? :-\ lol I'm scared... dont want to go to bed now coz i know what i will wake up to ;D

I had 3 wisdom teeth out under GA - now that hurt for days >:(
 
if you have a good dentist and you trust them there is mothing to worry about, i had a wisdom tooth removed and hardly felt anything, i think the needle hurt more :(

just think nice things ;)
 
hehe... yer she is a pretty good dentist :) just the school one but hey :) at least now i can get my braces! not sure how many weeks but i think its a bit less than a month or somthing :D!

I agree with you tawny, although i can't help worrying a little bit before I go it's always unfounded as it's always been ok - maybe a bit uncomfortable when the anaesthetic wears off but you can take painkillers for that usually. It's natural for you to worry a bit baby-wilson but try not to, it will be worth it in the end :)
 
yep :) ill have a perfect smile after being a metal mouth for 4 years ;D cant wait to get my plate :)

My 3rd is coming out at the moment. Luckly i've not had any problems with mine. Other then i got an infection when one was coming out. Some antibiotics and it cleared right up.

Aha! I found it! Do you think it would be okay to put on? As well as the tooth being removed I'm getting an examination... hehe... I'm scared :( its the whole needle thing thats freaking me out! I cried at my last blood test like a baby! ;D
 
Do the dentists over there use the numbing cream like they do here if you ask them? I think i'm over twice your age but i still have that before I have an injection in my gums! I'm not sure but I don't think bonjela will do much really, although it might be worth a go I suppose - it won't react with the injection though will it? :-\?
 
thats what i was thinking... yer i get the needles for numbing... not sure about cream though... its 11pm and my appointment is at 8.30am... only 9 and a 1/2 hours to say goodbye to my toofie ;D lol
 
Well, there's not much point in worrying about what you can't change - it's got to be done if you want your brace so that's that then. It might be worth asking if they've got a cream they can put on your gum to numb it so you won't feel the injection - they do it in all sorts of flavours here, rum n raisin, bubblegum i think and others. have a good nights sleep, it will be over tomorrow before you know it *sending hugs* ;)

I just got home :( The needles were definatly the worst part! I think i had 2 and a saw them theyre huge! I cant feel half of my face but its starting to wear off so I'm getting a headache now ;D I cried like a lil baby! :'( lol but now its over thank god! I'm drooling all over the place ;D
 
You duffer, i never ever look at the needles or i would faint :o
Yep they would've given you the numbing cream but if your tooth is in an awkward place the injections hurt more.
Now focus on those beautiful straight you're going to have once you get your braces, you'll look O0 O0 O0 O0
 
:D 2 weeks till orthodontist now! lol I didnt mean to look at the needle... it was huge.. i got cream then the needles i nearly did faint i think i had to sit down for a while ;D
 
:) thanks guys! The numbing stuff has worn off now and my lip is back to its normal size ;D Cant wait to get my plate now :) Just 2 weeks away :D
 
I'm glad it's all over for you and you're feeling better now, well done. It's all forward now... O0
