Getting Hair Off The Fleece

I have a long haired/short haired guinea piggy (her hair is pretty long but not too long) and her hair is getting all over the fleece! I comb her everyday but she sheds a LOT! Her hair is getting everywhere and I can't seem to get it off the fleece before I wash it. It ends up being inside the washer getting all the clothes all hairy. Is there any affective way to get all this hair off the fleece? Thanks!

I use a rubber floor brush. Those you use for hard floors I have had mine years so can't remember where I got it. I found this gets most of the hair and hay off the fleece. Then I wash it in a horse wash bag to protect the washer

I wash mine inside an old duvet tied at the top.
