Hey, happy new year! :)

Right now my 2 boys have a 120x60 cm cage and it's small, so I've been looking for bigger cages. A C&C cage wouldn't be an option for us. So far I've found 3, one of them probably wouldn't be good, since it's a two storey cage. I'll link them and I hope someone can help me decide. :)

Indoor Double Corner Cage Rabbit & Guinea Pig by Little Friends the two storey one
Rabbit 140cm LARGE Indoor Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage I think I'll get this one
Indoor Square Cage Rabbit & Guinea Pig by Little Friends

It's pretty hard to find a big cage that ships here (Estonia), and the cage that we have right now is the biggest that you can find in petstores. They do get a lot of floor time, so don't worry :)

Of the second and third ones, the third one has the largest floor area if my maths is right! I have been trying to work out the total floor area of the two-storey one....perhaps you have already done that though. Ramps are a bit of a gamble. Some piggies take to them fine, others are too wary, and there has been the odd accident where a piggy has fallen through the hole. As your piggies have plenty of floor time maybe the square cage would be OK.

Yes, the third one has the biggest floor area. Third one has 1m, second has about 0,9m and the two storey one has about 0,6m, maybe a bit more. Someone wrote a review about the two storey cage and said that the ramp moves around quite a bit, so this would be a problem also.
I'm starting to like the square one more haha, I'm so bad at making decisions :D

We found our piggies wouldn't use ramps so tend to avoid ramp cages.... you never know till they are home that is the problem.....

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Especially because it's really hard to get a good cage here without paying ~50-100£ for shiping also, so if I'm going to buy a new cage (which I definitely am :)) ) I want to be sure they'll be able to use it.

Totally agree, that's why I'd go with one level, 140cm is a great size for two piggies, I do like the look of the 2nd one - think it may be a ferplast.

They are lucky to have such a wonderful caring owner. What are their names? be good to see some photos of them.

Their names are Gnar and Sneaky. Gnar is after a character in a game, he just looks a lot like him and Sneaky.. well, because he's sneaky. :D

beebid.webp Again, both of them, Sneaky in the front. They weren't happy about this photoshoot :D
Sneakyy.webp This was when Sneaky wasn't comfy enough to be on my lap yet... :D
Sneaky4.webp I think you can clearly see why his name is Sneaky
Ggnar.webp This is my favourite picture of Gnar. :)
gnar3.webp This is Gnar, so hidden, that you can't even see him.

Great unique names :) Look forward to seeing them and lovely to have another international member on the forum. Are piggies popular pets in Estonia?

The 3rd one is one that we at Tees Valley Guinea Pig Rescue recommend but if you get it, the same one is available on Amazon for £59.99 with free postage. See:-
If you've got more spare cash then this 1.5m x 0.75m complete with stand is probably the best around @ £145.99 at the moment but unfortunately they're temporarily out of stock. See:- Little Friends Aston Indoor Rabbit Cage with Stand 150cm

Thank you. :) They are quite common*, I know a lot of people who have or have had piggies, though it's hard to find good quality hay and pellets here (also, appropriate cages as you can see haha). I've had them since 1st of November and I only now, 2 weeks ago found hay that I'm pleased with. The others are really dusty, gray and don't smell very nice. :/

*though I don't know anyone who has more than 2, unlike how here some of you have like ten

Cool :)

Glad you found some good hay, quality can always be an issue.

:)) I would never have ten far too much work :)) We currently have three as we had to have our oldest PTS the other week :( Sticking with three for the foreseeable future now. Piggies are very addictive though!
