Oh joy, we have a gas leak- emergency gasman has been out, he’s tuned all our gas off including the boiler. The leak is by the cooker.
He did one final test before he left & wasn’t getting any readings.
Piggies live downstairs near the kitchen- we have ventilated well.
Gas man said all animals should be ok. Any guinea pig specific advice welcome!

I haven’t got any advice but I’d still be worried. lol. I hope you get it sorted soon.

I hope your leak is repaired soon. I'm not an expert but if the house has been well ventilated and the leak stopped then there's not much you can do. I'd keep an eye on the piggies and take them to the vet if there are any health concerns.

Thank you. I am worrying about the piggies, despite being told all gas has gone.
OH is of the opinion that they are fine, as they are acting ok, doesn’t matter how many times I say guinea pigs hide illness etc!

Try not to worry (I know it's not easy). I think if there were any side effects you would be seeing them by now. If you are still worrying in the morning I would ring the vets and ask for advise. I don't know how your vets work but if I rang ours with a question like would inhaling the gas be effecting them the receptionist would go and ask the vet and ring me back.
