long story short my 6 year old pig rexy has what i’ve figured out to be gas bloat. one side of her stomach feels hollow when i flick it. it also feels quite hard.
i’ve got a vet appointment for tomorrow, what can i do until then? please help me! i love her so much and just want to help her.
i’ve been syringe feeding her food and water because she’s lost about 80g in weight, although this has been gradual since the 30th december. she is cleaning herself and walks around the floor, but is quite lethargic in the cage. I would rush her to the out of hours vets but the one in my town is closed- the nearest one being an hour away and my parents are refusing to drive me. I’ll honestly do anything to help her!

She just did one poop - perfectly sized although she seemed to be a bit uncomfortable. is that a good sign?

I'm so sorry but it’s not possible for us to say - it depends how severe the bloat is to start with and if it develops.
I hope she is ok
