I have a large oak tree in my back garden and usually there are quite a few twigs on the ground. I’m pretty sure oak trees are poisonous for guinea pigs but if I were to take them outside in the garden for floor time, would I need to remove all of the leaves and twigs in the playpen?

I think the oak tree is poisonous for quite a few animals it’s full of tannins. Can you position their run as far away as possible from the tree x

I put a fleece blanket on the floor in the run as we get our grass treated so I don’t want my pigs eating it. Maybe you could put a blanket down so they can’t get to the twigs xx
