Last night I was disturbed as I was getting to sleep by this odd squeaking coming from the pigs (not them squeaking though), so I went over the check on the girls and see what they were doing to find Lexi in the hidey and no sign of Freya. I looked around the cage and found she had got out of one of the corners, so blocked it up and got back to bed. I've just got back from the vets with Archie and looked over...they've only chewed a great big hole in my new, only just opened bag of Blackberry and Oregano pellets grrrr That must be what the noise was last night! Bloomin' creatures...mallethead I now have pellets all over my floor :(

Ah I have a solution for that! Pop them on the floor and let them nibble up the mess!

Haha, I need to find another bag to put this one in now without all the food falling out...hmm. I'll get the OH to do it...can blame him for the mess then :))

LOL! :))

How about this then? Today I was cleaning out the boys' cage. As usual, I started filling up a plastic back with dirty hay and piggy mess etc. I'd nearly finished and was getting ready to take out their bedding when I heard a rustling sound. I turned round to see Biscuit had chewed a big hole in the plastic back and and all the undesirable stuff had started to spill out on the floor!

I wasn't even upset. I was just amazed at how some piggies will just chew literally ANYTHING!

Sarah has escaped before, i have awoken to hear her thundering around their bedroom!:))

mine always make a bee line for plastic bags! I always worry they are going to eat some!

Haha. I have carrier bags hanging from the end of my bedpost near the girls cage. I got Lexi out for cuddles the other day and she ran along the bed into the plastic bag amongst the dirty hay in there mallethead. Not very lady-like at all!
