I have a question for fleece users please?

1. My large fleece is over two years old now, am I correct that as the fabric wears it would loose it's wicking properties? My girlies seem more whiffy that in a while and I have found it damp in places even with inco pads underneath, it wasn't before.
So I have been trying to buy a replacement, Dunelm do not have a regular fleece the correct size (huge) but they do have furry blankets the correct size. Not like proper furry like vet bed but furrier than fleece.

2. So, would a furry blanket wick wee? I have found some fleece blankets on ebay the right size, v cheap, but I would like to see the fabric first to be sure. I purchased a giant roll of vet bed a few months ago, it had to go back as the pile was way too deep to fit in my long suffering washing machine. Delivery v tricky on a massive roll of material! V expensive to transport.
And Finally:

3. Can you buy those cage liners for a C&C of dimensions 185 x 107 cm. If so details of suppliers welcome.
Actually
4. I bought a cheap vet bed style blanket from Wilkos, would my Piggles eat the fur, it is coming apart at the edge! Very cheap, six squids for a metre square.
Any comments gratefully received! Thanks

I'd assume that after a while fleece does just get a little old, like most things and just needs to be replaced.

Although i've seen people use the furrier fleece for beds and things, i can imagine being very dirty and mucky, and wouldn't be something i'd personally want to use for a cage, although it may work.

Most people would try and get some cage liners to the size you want, although I'm unsure of costs but here are a few who i know do liners,

Pawsup, do some great products that are top quality

and Snuggle Cosys Beds, is a good friend of mine who also makes great quality products,

and here is someone i found on ebay who does take custom orders i think, although i don't know about quality or anything (:

hope that helps (:
