We are all prone to calling our piggies other silly nicknames, soppy extensions to their real names or just something daft and meaningful to us that says something about their personality. I thought it would be fun to see what the rest of you use on a daily basis! Since I am starting the thread I'll go first :yahoo:...........

My favourite name for either of my two shelties is Seniorita Fluffybutt !

Otherwise its Treacle Toes (not sure why, it just is :D), Ruby Roo, Hella Bella. Poor little Luna doesn't really have one yet. Maybe she'll grow into one.

He he, none of ours are known by their real names, usual it's:

Harris: H, Big H, H-dawg, Aitchie, Big Pig
Fraoch: F, Effie, Fuzzy-butt
Hamish: Mish, Mishy, Mish-wish, Wish
Angus: Angoose, Goosta, Angus-table (sometimes he stands with his legs all at the corners like a table... no idea why!), Table, Mongoose, Mangoosta, Ferret-features

Angus & Hamish are collectively known as 'The Sheep' or 'Sheepies' :D

Scruff: Scroofles, Scwoofles, Scwoofs, Scrufflington
Peep: Peepsicle (Popsicle!), Peepsi, Peepums
Cookie: Cooks, Cookie-Monster, Cookball
Pecan: Peeks, Pecan-Pie
Perky: Perkums, Fluffball

Pancake: pana, pana pig
Bakewell: Bakes, baker pig, bakey
Marzipan: Mars bar, marzi, fattie, The fat one
Appel moes: moose, moosy (People often say I have spelt moose and apple wrong but it is a apple sauce that the Dutch use on their food)
Appel moes is the new edition to my family of girl as of a month ago, so now I have 4 to keep me on my toes !

As a group, I keep calling our piggies "Sausages", "Sugar Plum Fairies" or "Sweet Peas" at the moment, and those are the saner names. Not sure I even want to admit to the dafter ones!

come on! this is a confessional post! no judgements passed - I promise not to make reference to this post anywhere else! Dare you to admit to something daft go on....! If its good enough I'll use it with my piggies too! Can't say fairer than that!

Oh dear, well, I don't even know what this means, but I sometimes call them "Wibsy Woobles", or "Floopies". "Popsies" is quite usual here, and not quite so embarrassing.

Queenie gets called "Quoo-noo" and Phoebe "Foo-boo".

My husband never uses these silly names, it is just me, I'm afraid. I don't know whether to laugh or cry......!

Lol I dont feel like such a big softy now! Loving these names.

Ive had a fair few but they have always been collectively known as the girls, whirlywhirlies, whirls or as my dad calls them the fluffies. He has no idea which one is which but can be found talking to them when nobody is looking ;)

Some of the more memorable ones have been...
Turbo - turbytops
Ellie - Elliebelly, bellybelly or Ellie monster
Grace -Gracie, Graciebase
Tinkerbell- tinks
Dash - dashydoo
Libby - LibbyLou, libster, lusciouslibs
Orca-little blackface
Dopple- dopples or miniGrace (spitting image of grace)

I'm sure the others must have had names to be ashamed of too... Just I can't think what they are for the minute !
Xx

Ok so I put this out to a family vote, with the wife and two boys picking their favourites and I had the final casting vote. So here we go.... drum roll please....

In this "wheeks" soppy piggie name charts we have a joint entry in at number five. The judges were split and no clear winner could be decided upon, so we decided to put them in together! ....

Archiewiggle and fudgiewudgie sharing the honours in 5th place. Well done @Wigwig and @lucie

Stay tuned for the chart run down from number 4 to the top spot during the day today!
