Hey, this is not my piggy, so I'm asking a question for someone else.

This picture below was taken a couple weeks ago on this Peruvian Guinea Pig. It was on her back near her bum. Her owner did some research and wondered if it was something wrong with her oil gland, so she asked me to help her give the piggy a bath. It took care of the problem for a few days, but it appears like it's coming back. (It's not as bad as it is in this picture.) The piggy itches a lot and her owner wants to know what can be done to help her. I'm questioning if it's fungus.

The best thing is to consult a vet. We can’t diagnose anything so couldn’t say whether it’s fungal, mites or any other skin condition. Any treatment needs to be prescribed by a vet following the correct hands on diagnosis.
Please don’t bathe prior to seeing a vet. It can make diagnosis harder.
