Fungal nose stripe?

Hi there,

Is this fungal nose stripe? He's had it for a while and doesn't seem bothered by it and is well. His roommate hasn't caught it. Is it worth treating or best to leave ?

My Esme has a fungal nose stripe. Does it look like this at all? Fungal nose stripes can be left alone
