Well technically she isn't going out of her way to bully the pups but if one goes near her she does snap at it. When they are all in the cage she doesn't go near she stays in the bed bit which the pups can't get to but when in the cardboard run if one of the pups tries to snuggle up to her she snaps at it and chases it away.

We are getting another bigger cage at the weekend so we can be ready at 3 weeks to separate the pups and the girls, do you think Fudge would be ok on her own in the current cage for another 2 weeks? Is it possible to separate the pups from mum before the 3 weeks is up or is that too early?

Thanks.

I would not separate the pups before that because they will still be nursing. If necessary, separate Fudge and have a a full proper reintroduction on neutral ground when you separate the boars.

Some piggies do not take to babies and you need to accept that.

Thanks in that case as soon as we have the new cage I will put Cuddles and babies in it and leave Fudge in the current cage, however I will still put Cuddles in with Fudge at times during the day so Fudge doesn't feel completely alone.

I can accept that some piggies don't take to babies but it surprised me because Fudge is generally so loving towards us. However I guess babies are a different thing...
