till at least another 2 weeks. Had my friends that i go to the footy with (AFL football) and their families for a BBQ on Sunday.
Pete's a GP and i've known him now for just over 6 years so he takes one look at the lasting affects of my bruise from doing my calf muscle and laughs :-\
"Glynis" he says, you got another 2 weeks before you can do any exercise and then only a light flat type of walking and no power walking >:( >:( >:( >:(
As the saying here in OZ is 'not happy Jan' i thought it would be sooner i so wanted to get into a new regime and loose weight and feel fit and ME again.
So it looks like only a light walk in 2 weeks time and then for the next 6 weeks after that only the laid back type walking ARGHHHHHHHH i'm going to go crazy i love my walking :(
So does anyone else have any ideas other than not eating ;D, how i can loose weight without exercise for awhile?
Sorry to sound like i'm being selfish but i love to walk and see all the pretty gardens (when we get rain of course) it's soooo relaxing.
Thanks for listening to my gripe :)

Bless you! I hope you get back to normal soon. The only thing I can think of other than not eating is stress! As I am going through alot at the mo I am not eating as much and now my jeans dont feel tight! Than again some people eat more when stressed! You can come over to England and look after my kids I am sure that will make you lose weight. Sorry cant be much help, I do cross stitch and I do find that I dont munch in the evenings when I'm doing that.

I would advise doing Atkins (if you eat meat).

I lost a stone and a half in just over two months once, and have consistently lost weight with it each time I do it. You must get the book first and read it so you understand about the importance of insulin and being in keto etc.

Atkins is very safe. Your BP will go down. Your cholesterol will rise initially for a couple of weeks, them plummet - that is expected. You will feel great, although perhaps a bit tired the first week. Email me if you want to talk about it ;D

Sex is good exercise too ;D ;D ;D

Geez that's all OH ever wants to hear, i'm not gonna tell him you said it tho ;D ;D ;D

Yes i'm going to look at Atkins as you've advised sounds great thanks :-*

Truly I recommend it. But I think it is important to read the book thoroughly, so you understand fully how your body is changing. yes, ther are side effects: headaches, leg cramps, sweet breath, but the first two generally go off.

Go for it. :)
