ive found a stall at the market that does special offers every week
offer 1 is a vegetable 'packet' contain tons of veggy items for €5 (you get a lot!)
offer 2 is fruit items - but I'm still unsure what fruit is ok for piggys?

for example this week for €5 you got 1 pineapple, 2 papaya, 2 mangoes, 1 large yellow mellon, 1 box cherry toms (yes they are a fruit!) 1 bunch bananas, 1 box grapes, 1 punnet strawberries and 4 oranges

now can piggys eat the papaya, pineapple, grapes, melon, strawberries and mangos?
can they eat banana skin? melon skin? papaya/mango/orange skin? or just the flesh? ive made fruit salad this morning and am left with ots of skins/off cuts of the fruit.......

also can piggys eat the green bit of leeks?

I would be careful with leeks or any plant of the onion family! They should not be part of a regualr diet.

Fruits that should NOT be given, because they can cause diarrhea or severe digestive problems according to my list:
Cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines etc.
Papaya, mango, kumquat, lychees, guavas, pomegranates, physalis, cherimoys, curuba.
Avocados can be highly poisonous to guinea pigs and should not be fed under any circumstances.

Fruits that CAN be given, preferably only occasionally in small quantities: apple and pears are the best fruit to give.
bananas (i feed washed skins as well; some piggies like them better), strawberry greens, kiwi, grapes, mandarins, oranges, melons.
